The Creality Ender 3 Pro is my first 3D printer. I purchased it as I have previously 'played' with CAD packages and been frustrated at not being able to physically handle the fruits of my labour. I saw this purchase as move from imagination to reality or Creality. I was not disappointed. With only the instructions from the box It took me about 2 hours to build, I definitely think I could have managed it quicker but I was working on other things in parallel.
I powered the unit up, mounted some filament, inserted the SD card, selected the dog model and hit print. It has been printing boxes, filament guides, vases etc for 3 days now without a break, even printing my own 3D design which I pulled together with one of the well know print packages. I have had a few 3D printers from different manufactures and all have given me hours of entertainment as I have had to search the Internet forums for help in getting them built, set up correctly and advice on what went wrong with my many failed prints.
Like millions in the UK I find myself confined to my house and I have watched everything on Netflix so I decided to un-box and set up the CR V2 assured of many hours of fiddling around and searching for the answers to problems on the Internet and hours spent trying to contact customer support for missing parts and trying to decipher badly translated manuals So I have to report that I am disappointed It took me 30 mins to build the 3D printer, not even a missing screw, and the concise manual with pictures made perfect sense.
I kept looking in the empty box as surely I had missed something vital but no, all was as it should be. I powered it up, no error messages. I threaded the filament which got snagged because I hadn't realised it needed to be straight, took a minute to figure that out. I levelled the Bed, that admittedly took me two goes.
The quality of the cute little cat is amazing. Now I have to find something else to do to fill up the many weeks in isolation ahead, well I guess I will just get on and print a load of stuff. Thanks Creality. But wait, I also have the BLTouch bed levelling device to install and a Titan direct extruder, I am sure these will not work and I will have days of fun fixing them I will post a review shortly, hopefully it will not be boring.
I watched Youtube videos before assembling and was ready for the one or the other tweaks and adjustments. But my Ender 3 Pro came fully adjusted and many problems related in past videos were solved by Creality. Thank you very much. Great printer and even greater printer for the money!Cura Connect lets you manage your entire 3D printing workflow with ease.

This setting is available when the adhesion type is set to 'None', 'Skirt' or 'Brim', and the prime tower is enabled.
Previously, the maximum deviation was hard-coded in CuraEngine to be half of the maximum resolution. A new setting has been added that sets the maximum allowed deviation from the original polygon when reducing model resolution. If line segments are shorter than the maximum resolution, they are removed, unless this introduces a deviation greater than the maximum deviation Gyroid support.
Smartavionics has contributed a new option for a gyroid support pattern, similar to his gyroid infill contribution. A gyroid pattern is relatively efficient with the material, so gyroid patterns permeable to water can dissolve faster. The Marketplace now includes a direct link to a site where users can buy specific materials to work with the corresponding print profile. I'm gonna be working with clients as a design consultant, possibly trusted with very sensitive data, and I don't like that CURA "phones home" to ultimaker every time i use the program. I echo the sentiment here - if you're going to be using the machine professionally I might be good to have the commercial support.
Been using Ideamaker lately and was very impressed with it. I think the only other software that has that is Craftware. Also the saved profile settings are even easier to use than S3d. Being free is huge, S3D is better because it has more options, but for most users I think something like Ideamaker is great.
All slicers are compatible the difference is how they slice. Try Mattercontrol! Will give results just as good as Simplify3D. Works for Linux, Mac, and Windows and best of all, is free. After reading these steps, you can print the model you want easily. The Creality software has the built-in fast print mode and full configuration mode. The default mode is the fast print, if it is necessary, you can switch to the full configuration mode. About the first print mode, you need to have a clear understanding of the material, profile, and others. That Creality can ensure it is normal to print.
Since different materials from different companies, the result of printing will be a little different. You can choose the full configuration mode for specific settings. CR 0. Fast 0. It will greatly shorten the printing time, such as printing the cubes. Normal 0.Now I can only use one nozzle. Or are there other settings I can use for printing two filaments? Help is kindly appreciated. Then you can create a CR-X. You can work around that as discussed here:.
